How I Came to This Work

I hold an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco and a BA in Psychology from Bangor University, with clinical training in Gestalt therapy and Hakomi, a somatic, mindfulness-based approach.

Before graduate training I spent several years in community mental health in London, supporting adults in recovery from alcohol dependence. Before that, I was the teenager people came to when they were struggling, and I chose psychology at school, then university, to understand why.

I’m a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #165093), practicing under supervision at the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy.
